Yeah.....Spain. Wanted them to do well obviously because of the Liverpool connection. Gutted. They should have had Pepe Reina in goal!  |

At least Aussie and Swiss teams didn't make asses out of themselves like the Swedes. Sweden-Germany must be the most one sided last 16 so far  . lol, the Swiss never made anything out of the penalty shoot out. that sucks bigtime. |

But that's not going to help us win the world cup and I haven't seen the Dutch play total football under van Basten so there's really nothing to fear. |

Poor coaching from the Pekerman cost the Atgies and of course the Germans won the penalties. They haven't lost since 1976. What is it with Americans and Polish players? I read in the sport pages the immensly valuable piece of info Paris Hilton thinks chubby polish-german Podolski is the sexiest man on earth. ( Ljungberg #2 that explains why it was there)
