Who will you go for in Germany vs Argentina? It seems quite a few people think Argentina can win the whole shebang. I'm not sure, it used to be my principle to always root against Germany, my attitude has changed a little the last couple of years. All the taunting the Germans did before and after the match may decide in Argentina's favour. The IKEA jokes became old pretty fast.

Aww, I'm sorry about that. I didn't realize it was so bad.
Ever since the US lost, you can barely even find the scores of the games after they've been played, much less analysis or media coverage.

These arseholes steal the moose warning signs in Norway and the older ones wandering around Tromsø coming off the coastal steamer is enough to irritate me. Well you know my views on German football and really hope Argentina thump them.

The German teams of the 70s up to the mid 90s had some of the most unlikeable pricks on the planet and a lot of them had perm mullets and looked like porn stars and were just nasty.
They won a lot and that was bad enough as well, though it was always good to see them lose, especially Denmark beat them in the Euro Champs in 92. There were parties going on for days.

I know some people in here don't like football, but I don't care this Vince Grella is a funny guy. This is the link www.smh.com.au/news/world-cup-2006/dutch-summer-proving-no-picnic-for-grella/2006/06/02/1148956542552.htmlGrella is yet another player who has blossomed under Hiddink. While he has been well schooled by his coaches at Parma in Italy's Serie A, and before that at Empoli, Hiddink has enjoyed patrolling practice games in Mierlo, purring at Grella. "Grell! Grell!" Hiddink will shout at defenders, urging them to pass to the midfielder. "Grell! Grell!" he will shout at Grella when he wants the player to break up an opposition attack. Like his role with Parma, Hiddink will demand much of Australia's workload goes through Grella. When an Australian defender wins the ball, he must pass to Grella to distribute it. When the opposition is bearing down on Australia's goal, Grella's job is to destroy their oncoming movement. "I'm very excited by the World Cup," Grella said. "The whole team has dreamed of this as young players. All the players have, from all over the world. If you speak to the Italian players, the ones I have in my team [at Parma], it's a dream to play in the World Cup. No one is taking it for granted." Grella has another important role in this squad. It's now Socceroos legend that the Italian-based player will arrive at each national team training camp with a block of Parmesan cheese and prosciutto, local ham from his home near Parma. After a less-than-impressive dining experience at a past camp in England, Grella vowed to raise the team's culinary standard. On Friday, Grella was temporarily distracted from his cheese and ham by the prospect of a fish dinner. The team took a fishing trip to the Dutch coast to break up the monotony of gruelling training. "I am not the best fisherman," he said. "But I would like to eat a couple."When he came back here, he couldn't get the Parmesan cheese from Italy, cause they have strict customs here. I love the fact he didn't like the food and decided to do something about it. He is the blond guy.
