Lee Glad that you enjoy the game. And happy birthday to little Lee. Now I wish I can go to a game. But the ticket is so expensive now. But anyway, the Yotes are doing okay, are they? Sad that Wayne has so many family sad moments in the past month. I hope all those would affect his coaching duty.

Feeling very bad for the Pens too. In just a couple of weeks, they lost Ziggy and Mario to retirement . But they seem to cope with it pretty well, they just routed Ovechkin and the Caps yesterday. Is it because Sidney is maybe getting a little aggitated by all the glory Ovechkin's getting lately that he wanted to put up a show of his own playing the Caps?

I'm so pissed at my team. Losing consecutive games to 2 bottom fish teams of the entire league. They are a joke on the road. And I doubt that they are in any form a contender to the Cup. I mean, if they can't beat the teams in their own division and they suck big time on the road, what's left to give them any chance to challenge things in playoff .

This has nothing to do with Hockey. But I figure that this is the thread I knew Lee will check. So I just have a question for you, Lee. Is Kiwi a nice guy when you met him in that Arizona tourny? I don't know why, Kiwi beat my 2 faves (Seb and Juanqui) and behaved like a total ass while doing that. But somehow, I still find myself wishing him good luck and wanting him to win. I guess afterall, I like Kiwi ever since I knew about his existence. He is a hard habit to break for me. I was a little bit mad at him for swearing at Juanqui. Then, he gave an interview with Brad/Chris. He sounded like a very mellow guy off the court. I can totally be melted by his voice . lol I went to bed at 4:45 am last night very disappointed after Nalby lost. He and Momo were the one that I wanted to win this AO. But of course, that can't happen now. Then, last night, I dreamt about Kiwi and Momo went skiing together with Kiwi's mom. And Kiwi said Momo get along with his mom very well because they are both French. lol. Dream can be interesting sometimes. Now I'm hoping that somehthing good will happen to both of them. I desperately hope that Momo can win a slam before her career ends. And for Kiwi, oh well, I just want him to have a good run, I don't think he can win but who knows. There's always hope... well, until about 3:30 am PST tomorrow.

Vera, Kiwi is a very very nice guy off court. It's hard to believe if you only see him on court or when he's drunk :tape: . And this is not only me saying. Many posters on MTF, who run into him in tournaments, said the same thing. So even seeing those terrible on-court tactics, I still can't don't like the guy. that's a really weird dream.

I'm sorry about Canucks performance. It seems the team don't have any confidence at all.
For Yotes, they are at the bottom of the division and very likely to miss the playoff.
I will have another chance to watch the game again in April 8th. Tickets are only $12.50 from the PTO of little Lee's school. Also, for all Saturday home games, they have family pack for $68, you have 4 of each $25 tickets, hot dog and soda. That's the kind of tickets we have last time. So, it's pretty affordable for average family here. The seats of the $25 tickets are pretty good, we had a good view of the ice.
The lowest ticket price for Yotes is $15 and if you don't eat inside the arena, it's still very affordable.

Thanks Lee for letting me know that. I really believe that he is a good guy, bark way worse than his bite. It's good to know that I wasn't wrong. Now I wish to meet him myself. Anyways, I didn't cheer for him in the SF. Not that it's because of hearing all the bashing from the commentators that makes me change my mind on him. Just that, well, I hardly watch the match. All those lost sleep caught up on me and I couldn't stay awake for much after the first 3 games. Oh well, he met his destiny anyway, though I really think getting to a SF is not so shabby for him. I just watch the women final. Now I'm really mad and bitter. I always like Justine but I don't think I like her anymore. I know she's sick. But man, will it kill her to play 4 more games? I mean, she just singlehandedly spoil the whole tournament for a lot of ppl. This just stinks the whole way from Australia all the way up here. Poor Momo, can't even celebrate in her first slam. I hope she can win more then, at least one more win where she can show her emotions without feeling inappropriate under the circumstance.

I'm sorry about Canucks performance. It seems the team don't have any confidence at all. You're right. I think the fundamental problem still lies in the fact that we lack the work ethic. Not saying that they are lazy, but too many time I saw them getting outplayed by teams way less skillful. How can we explain that the Blues onlyl won 2 games in 11 and both wins are from Vancouver . That's just pathetic. And then, there's our goalie problem. I'm sure Auldy is trying his best. I felt for him, being a rookie with all those important responsibilities and heavy work loads, we don't even have a decent backup for him. And it's not like you can go get a good goalie if you want to. There's just not many around. I'm quite envious that the Yotes has Cujo, how luck you guys are to have a great guy on goal.

Canucks may want to hire one of the Sutters as coach. Honestly, those Sutters are incredible in getting everyone work their a**es off. Same for the goalie problem. Experience is very important in goalies. Look at the top goalies in the league and their ages. And a good mentor is important for rookies. I wonder why Canuch not trying to get an experience goalie in the first place.
Cujo made a big difference in Yotes. And the fans love him. The night I went to the game, he's not playing spectacular but many key saves, thus, giving the team a chance to fight to the last minute.
