Oh yeah! The Hendricks/Davis drama. I think in addition to coaching them how to skate faster, they need some coaching in putting your mask on and team spirit.

Hedricks, what an asshole! I'm glad he got beat in his two "main events". I've been getting my news from the German news and MeFi, how sad is that. Apparently the gay blogosphere has totally embraced Johnny Weir, tho. www.metafilter.com/mefi/49311

Thanks to the US curling team, the awareness on curling increases in US. Hopefully, this means there may be curling tournaments show on ESPN

And of course, to the first gold medal in men's curling for Canada. After 2 silver medals, finally, finally...... Although I'm not a big fan of Russ Howard but he deserves to have a gold medal. Is this a record? An Olympic gold for a 50 years old man!!!!!!

Although I'm extremely happy for Canada's win but it's a very boring draw. After Canada win 6 in the 6th end And it should be 7 rocks if not because of the adrenaline of Gushue working overtime.

Hedricks, what an asshole! . I just thought this clown is the funniest story of the whole event that really deserved a recap ;D: From MSNBC: Shani and Chad The two men who turned men’s speedskating into a running soap opera are unique in these Games for being both one of America’s best stories as well as one of its worst. Chad Hedrick started the soap opera when he came in declaring himself to be in the hunt for five gold medals, the same number Eric Heiden won in 1980. But Heiden won five individual medals; Hedrick was going for four individual and one in a new event called the team pursuit. When Shani Davis said he wasn’t participating in the pursuit — an event he had never competed in before — to concentrate on his own races, Hedrick decided he’d been betrayed. When Davis won the 1,000, becoming the first black to ever win an individual gold in the Winter Olympics, Hedrick didn’t even congratulate him. When Davis took silver and Hedrick bronze in the 1,500, Davis pouted about that snub and Hedrick whined again about the team pursuit medal he didn’t get. __________________________________________ Still give me a smile when I recalled what Hendrick said on tv during his interview: "I am the team leader... I felt we past on a medal" It is an individual sports. And if you can't win without Shani, then you don't deserve a medal.
