We got "bit" by the Sharks last night (very funny joke from yahoo sports. ) and decreased speed on Calgary's chase. We're 5 points down and only two ahead of Edmonton..

The problem with the Avs schedule is having to play all the three conference partners on the road and in the three last dates. Sucks! We could win 4 or 5. I'd like to see Theodore before the playoffs...

Avs next 3 opponents are easy pick, all are out of playoff pictures (although some are mathematically still in the race). Canucks have the toughest schedule, IMO.

Is that your prediction? that the Nucks will be ahead of the Oilers? God bless you for having faith in my team . Oilers are 2 points ahead and with one more game on hand. They will have to suck a lot worse to be behind the Nucks at the end. But I hope you are right.

The Nucks are killing me. Honestly, I don't think they will make the playoff. The way they've been playing .

Well, let's put it this way, if we can win all the 5 remaining games, that's the only way we can be sure we'll be in. But, considering how badly we've been playing, I don't see that happening.

On the bright side, if we don't make the post season, then I can finally stop whinning about how bad my team plays, then I can return to sanity a month or 2 ahead of schedule.

I'm so not looking forward to the next week when the next 5 games play. I rather jump ahead and find out whether we are in or out without having to watch in agony. Good thing tax deadline is coming. If there is one thing that will inflict more pain on me in the next 8 days than watching the Canucks play, I think having to file tax by the deadline will probably do it. My life sucks (at the moment at least).
