For all his trouble injuring his ribs and shoulder during the RR game, Ohlund didn't get a medal because he didn't play the final 2 games  . That sucks, no fair. ... His replacement Niklas Hävelid, or was it Kronwall   , said he'll split the medal with Öhlund, since he deserved it more. |

Do you know the Swedish Olympic Comittee has threatened to disqualify(and take back their medals) the ice-hockey team because they and the ladies' hockey team celebrated on their own and not together with the other olympians(?). Apparently it was against sponsoring rules or something. Sour grapes about the hockey people stealing the show I guess.

But Ohlund said he won't take it. Kronwall deserves it too. I'm just really mad that why can't they just give the whole team medal for being part of it, like the reserved in speed skating relay team will get a medal even though he didn't get to skate. The metal is not that expensive, is it? |
