Sedins, Alfredsson, Pebben. Modin!!! Even some smart coaching when saving some players in boxplay in the 2nd period, to afterwards use them to basically kill the match! Hopefully Forsberg has saved his goals for the final! At last we're not humiliated in one of the great tournaments!

Congratulation to Swedes and Finns! Hopefully, this is more exciting than the men's curling final!

Fun fun fun a Scandinavian derby and sorry Aphex I am going for the Finns, but in reality the gold medal is coming to the region where it should be.

Congrats to the Swedes for Gold and the Finns for Silver. It was a great final and a great tournament. I was a little torn between the 2 teams but I'm happy with either winning. It's a little tough though at the end to have to see Teemu, Saku and company so dejected. Oh well, I'm sure in a day or 2, they will be able to appreciate their own effort in the past 2 weeks.

For all his trouble injuring his ribs and shoulder during the RR game, Ohlund didn't get a medal because he didn't play the final 2 games . That sucks, no fair. I guess Salo was smart enough to stick around with his injuried shoulder to attend the medal ceremony, just to make sure he gets one. Ohlund flied back right after the injury to get medical treatment from the team doctor. Now Mattias is feeling much better now and Sami has no clue how bad his injury is but is still feeling bad, once again proving this medal is really a costly one . Please, come meet our new line of defense: Bryan Allen, Steve McCarthy, Tomas Mojzis, Wade Brookbank, Sven Butenschon and Kevin Bieksa. Household names from the Manitoba Moose .

Are they saying RR doesn't count at all!!! In curling, the teams usually put the reserve player in the RR draws so he/she will get a medal if they win one. This is absolutely ridiculous!!!! And they still managed to win vs Calgary on the road And scored 2 goals in 9 seconds

This is absolute crap!!!! Are they saying RR doesn't count at all!!! In curling, the teams usually put the reserve player in the RR draws so he/she will get a medal if they win one. This is absolutely ridiculous!!!! And Olly said he won't be bitter about it. But I will . . Admittedly, we were extremely lucky at that game, the shot on goal at that point before our first goal was 12-2 Calgary. Auldy put in a great performance to hold the fort. I just don't know how long we'll last without our top Ds. We are out with our number 1 goalie and number 1 dman for the rest of the season bcos of their respective surgery, and then Olly, Sami and another more experienced D. So we have a rookie goalie with no backup and 5 rookie Ds (or 4, Brookbank played forward before he pretends to be a Dman .) Having said that, I'm amazed that we manage to get enough wins to be still in the top tier (with our top lines Nazzy, Bert and Mo not performing much). It was the Sedins line that carried the team so far. They used to just carry the puck and circle the board all the time. This season, they circle the board, set up Carter and score and PP and PK. They did everything, that's unbelievable how much the twins improved in 1 season, 1 off season.
