Toadie had some charming behaviour when he lost a breakpoint early in the second set and screamed something very loud up at his coach, who was sitting in the stands right behind him. But as much as we all love Potato Starchy, I don't think he's at the same level as Soderling on any surface, even clay.
Lisnard played quite a good match actually and had his chances, 2-1 and 0-30 in the first set and later on 0-40 to get back to 4-4, but he couldn't take them and Nadal was back into frightening form in the second set. The 2-0 game was a perfect example of what makes him impossible to play on clay; he kept failing to convert breakpoints, but then every time he came back with another long rally, another passing shot to get back to breakpoint again, and finally Lisnard broke down completely.
Chubby Chela was given a bit of a lesson, this one surprised me as I thought it would be pretty close. It could have been even easier if Ferrero had taken more of his chances in the second set, we're talking 1 and 0 or at least the double breadstick. But he will have his work cut out for him against the Frog, who I see as the favourite to make the quarters and give Federer one hell of a battle, in fact probably cause an upset. When I saw on the scoreboard that he was down 3-4, a break in the final set against Hrbaty, I checked back ten minutes later knowing he would be back in front, and he was, and checked again a few minutes later knowing he would have won, and he had. I don't think he can win matches any other way on any surface.

Mr Toad eating Davydenko and Starace consecutively!? Are they both injured? I think Soderling has morphed into a clay player

And Coria was racking up the double-faults Anna K style. A whole df game when serving for the 1st set.
